Guests & Visitors
We warmly welcome all guests and visitors to Pocahontas Community Hospital. To make your visit more comfortable, we offer complimentary coffee and treats in the front lobby. Additional coffee stations can also be found in the cafeteria and the north visiting room near the fireplace.
Guest Meals
Our cafeteria is open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with a variety of hot meals and grab-and-go options. After hours, a selection of food and beverages is available for purchase from the refrigerator near the cafeteria. You’re welcome to bring your meal back to the patient’s room or dine in the cafeteria.
If you’d like a meal delivered to a patient’s room, simply notify a nurse or call 5222 to request a guest tray. The cost is $3 per tray.
Weekends & Holidays
Guest meals are available for lunch in the cafeteria or can be delivered to patient rooms. Supper trays may also be ordered.

Cafeteria Hours
Monday–Friday
Hot Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Featuring hot entrees and a full salad bar.
Supper: Delivered to patient rooms at 5:30 p.m.
To order supper, please contact the kitchen by 4:30 p.m.
A la carte items are always available for purchase.
