Speech-Language Pathologist

Paige Peterson is a speech-language pathologist from Ankeny, Iowa. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her masters degree in speech-language pathology from the University of Northern Iowa. 

Paige will see patients from across the lifespan in the areas of speech, language, voice, cognition, augmentative and alternative communication, and feeding/swallowing. Paige has completed field work in a variety of settings including an inpatient rehab facility, schools, an outpatient clinic, and an inpatient/outpatient hospital. She is excited to start her career at PCH. 

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, camping, going to new coffee shops and spending time with friends and family.

Samir Elias, MD

Family Medicine

Dr. Samir Elias is a family medicine physician who grew up and trained in New Jersey, with a commitment to delivering accessible, patient-centered care to diverse communities across all stages of life. He earned his medical degree from St. George’s University, where he was recognized for academic excellence, research, and humanism, and was inducted into the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Completed his residency at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, an affiliate of Rutgers Health, where he received the Barbara G. Franzblau Award for excellence in behavioral health and compassionate care.  I emphasize on prevention, early diagnosis, and proactive management to help patients maintain long-term health and avoid complications.  Outside of medicine, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, watching sports, trying new restaurants, and exploring different cuisines. 

I believe high-quality care begins with attentive listening and a clear understanding of each patient’s individual needs and priorities. I strive to build strong, trusting relationships where patients feel respected, informed, and supported throughout their care. I am motivated by the opportunity to guide patients through both routine and complex health concerns with clarity and compassion.

Dentlinger is a family medicine provider with a focus on chronic disease management and preventive care. She is passionate about helping patients better understand their health beyond symptom management — she empowers them to make informed decisions about their care.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her lab, Nala, along with gardening, camping and going on walks with her husband.

Halee Ingebritson, FNP-C, is a Family Practice provider. She received her medical education from Chamberlain University and is certified as an FNP-C. Her medical interests span a wide range of specialties, including Nephrology, Cardiology, Surgery, Wounds, Emergency Medicine, and Women’s Health. When she is not working, Halee enjoys spending time with her four boys, swimming, boating, traveling, and cooking.

Dr. Benjamin Branigan is a general surgeon who comes to Pocahontas Community Hospital from Northwest Iowa Surgeons out of Spencer. After earning his undergraduate degrees and his MD from Creighton University in Omaha, he completed his general surgery residency at UnityPoint Health – Iowa Methodist Medical Center in Des Moines.

Mara Clark, DPT is a physical therapist from Laurens, Iowa. She earned her Health Sciences degree from the University of South Dakota and completed her Doctor of Physical Therapy at Briar Cliff University.  

Mara enjoys being a physical therapist because of the wide variety of patients she has the opportunity to work with and the constant need to adapt to each individual’s unique needs, a challenge she embraces daily.

Outside of work, she loves paddle boarding, reading, drawing, working out, and spending time with family and friends.

Dr. Prasuna Rao Madhavaram is a board-certified internal medicine physician specializing in endocrinology. She earned her medical degree from Deccan School of Medical Sciences in India and completed her residency and fellowship training at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Endocrinology. Dr. Rao is passionate about weight management and sees patients at Pocahontas Community Hospital on the 3rd Friday of each month.

Abby is a certified family nurse practitioner and dermatology trained nurse practitioner. She has worked in the healthcare field for many years and has a wide range of experience including family practice, urgent care, gerontology, and hospice. She has also completed a three-month dermatology fellowship with RC Dermatology’s Charles Love, MD.

Abby is diligent about learning and keeping up with the latest guidelines and recommendations to better serve her patients and help them achieve their healthcare goals and needs. When she isn’t seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, biking, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes.
