
Sara is a Manson native and is enjoying being closer to her hometown taking care of the people she knows. She obtained her LPN and RN from Iowa Central. Sara joined the US Navy as a nurse at age 22. After 8 years and 1 month of active duty, Sara decided to come back home. She then earned her degree as certified family nurse practitioner from Frontier Nursing University. Sara lives with her husband, Chad, and together they have 8 children. She loves to garden and sing and spend time with her family and friends.
Selena is a St. Mary’s, Iowa native. She obtained both her undergrad and graduate degrees from Morningside College in Sioux City. Her and her husband, Bill, do not have any children of their own, but they do foster children. In her free time, Selena enjoys reading, hunting with her dad, cuddling with her puppies, spending time with family, and watching Bill coach highschool baseball in the summers. She enjoys the small town community life and the relationships made with patients.
Dr. Kirkegaard attended Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Des Moines, IA. He completed his internal medicine residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. Dr. Kirkegaard’s medical interests include preventative care and wellness, Type 2 Diabetes, and lipid management. His medical philosophy is “prevention over reaction; treat the cause and not just the symptoms; treat the patient and not just the diagnosis.” Dr. Kirkegaard enjoys spending time with his family and friends, hiking, exercise/fitness, and games. Dr. Kirkegaard will start seeing adult patients, starting Fall 2021.
