Full-Time Paramedic or RN for Ambulance Service - $15,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Paramedic or RN Position with 24-hour shifts

Pocahontas Community Hospital is in search of a Full-time Paramedic or RN to join our ambulance team. The hospital will offer a $15,000 sign-on bonus with a two-year commitment. IPERS and FT benefit package available.

Duties:

The applicant will be responsible for providing pre- hospital care to the sick and injured. Physical requirements of the position include, but not limited to: Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, sitting, crouching/kneeling, reaching, bimanual dexterity, visual acuity, hearing acuity, communication, computers, and driving.
The applicant will assist in the ER and in other areas of the hospital when time allows.
ER responsibilities include, but not limited to: Carrying out orders, procedures, patient documentation and medication administration within their scope of practice.

Qualified applicants include:

Applicants must have a current Paramedic certification, or RN license, chauffeurs DL with good driving record, and willing to obtain BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC (for RN’s) and EVOC certifications after hire.
