Quality & Timely Results

Pocahontas Community Hospital Laboratory services include routine clinical testing dedicated to providing high-quality results in a timely manner. Common samples to test are blood, urine, tissue, and other body fluids. We provide testing for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency patients. We are also certified drug screen collectors and can assist with employer drug screening needs. 

We are inspected biannually by a CLIA (Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment) state inspector. We accept orders from any outside provider, we just ask that you bring the order your doctor gave to you or have it faxed to us.

For the convenience of Laurens and Manson residents, the laboratory staff travels to both of these clinics for blood draws. Patients must call the clinic to get on the list at least 24 hours in advance. Blood draws are available at the Laurens UnityPoint Clinic on Monday and Friday from 8:15-9:15 am and at the Manson clinic on Wednesdays from 8:15-9:15 am.
