Pocahontas Community Hospital Medical Staff

Dr. George joined the medical staff in February of 2003. Dr. George graduated from Sioux Rapids High School and then attended Northwestern College in Orange City and later graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines. He started his practice in Corning, worked for McCrary-Rost in Lake City and then joined the Trimark Physicians Group in Manson. Dr. George and his wife Jan have three sons, Andrew, Brendan and Niles.

Dr. Zachary Adkins assumed his duties with the Pocahontas Community Hospital Medical Staff and Pocahontas Trimark Physicians Group on August 4, 2009. Dr. Adkins received his Medical Degree from Marshall University in Morgantown, WV. Dr. Adkins and his wife Mary Beth have two sons, Mason and Braxton.

Tonja Petersen-Anderson joined the medical staff in June of 1997. She is a native of Nebraska, graduating from Creighton University where she received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing. Tonja obtained her Masters degree in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed the Family Nurse Practitioner program at Clarkson College in Omaha. Tonja is married to George Anderson and they have three daughters, Emma, Olivia and Julia.

Stephanie Bellcock joined the medical staff August 1st, 2011. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from South Dakota State University. Stephanie obtained her Masters degree - Family Nurse Practitioner from Clarkson College in Omaha, NE. She and her husband Justin have a daughter, Brylie.
