Dr. Ted George, D.O.
Dr. George joined the medical staff in February of 2003. Dr. George graduated from Sioux Rapids High School and then attended Northwestern College in Orange City and later graduated from the College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines. He started his practice in Corning, worked for McCrary-Rost in Lake City and then joined the Trimark Physicians Group in Manson. Dr. George and his wife Jan have three sons, Andrew, Brendan and Niles.

Dr. Jennifer Boevers, D.O.
Dr. Boevers joined the medical staff in August of 2016. Dr. Boevers attended Cornell College in Mount Vernon, IA and later graduated from the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, Des Moines, IA. Dr. Boevers completed her residency at Broadlawns Medical Center in Des Moines. She enjoys spending time with her husband and family in her free time. Dr. Boevers specializes in family medicine, geriatrics, internal medicine, pediatrics and women’s health. She is excited to work in the rural setting and gain personal relationships with her patients. She is now accepting patients of all ages at the Pocahontas UnityPoint Clinic.

Erin Peterson, ARNP
Erin Peterson joined the medical staff July 2014. She graduated with her Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing and Masters in Family Nurse Practitioner from Briar Cliff University. Erin is married to Kerry Peterson, a farmer and they live on an acreage near Palmer. They have two children, Austin and Cody.

Kylie (Woodley) Maurer, PA-C
Kylie joined the Medical Staff at Pocahontas UnityPoint Physicians Group and Pocahontas Community Hospital on September 8, 2015 and is a native of Laurens, Iowa.  She did her undergraduate at Buena Vista University in 2012 and received her degree from the Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Kylie enjoys golfing in her free time.  She and her new husband Kevin, live on a farm near Hartley.  Kylie stated that she “ looks forward to serving and helping the people of Laurens who helped her grow up to be the person she is today.” Kylie sees patients at the Laurens UnityPoint Clinic four days a week with regular clinic hours on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and is at the Pocahontas Clinic on Tuesdays.

Abby Greenlee, ARNP

Abby joined the medical staff in September 2015 after graduating from Clarkson College in Omaha, Nebraska in August 2015 as a Family Nurse Practitioner.  Abby is a native of New Hampton, Iowa and currently lives in Sac City with her husband Kyle, and their daughter Kenlee.  She works in the Pocahontas Clinic Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
